Ms. Ashlynn, WPDN Pixie Teacher (2-3 years old)

Ms. Ashlynn has been a part of our school family for a little over a year. She started out as a float and then transitioned to being a lead teacher in the Pixie Classroom. Ms. Ashlynn brings the most creative and sensory-based activities to her class showing her passion and joy for working with young children.

1. What brings you to work everyday? “I’m excited to come every day because I love being able to teach the pixies about a variety of different topics in new ways.”

2. What gets the kids excited or helps them engage? “The Pixies are always excited to play with sensory items including paint, shaving cream, sensory bags, water, and sand.”

3. If funds weren’t an issue, what do you wish you could do more of at the school? “If funds weren’t an issue I would love to get something to help dampen the noise in the room for our high sensitivity kids.”
