Food and Nutrition

Winter Park Day Nursery creates a healthy school environment through a nutritional food program. Our cook, Ms. Shirley prides herself on making the entrees from scratch and limiting processed foods. We serve vitamin C every day and vitamin A twice a week, and use fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible.

Students and their teachers eat meals together, family style, in their classrooms. This helps children learn table etiquette, strengthens bonds within our school family and builds social skills
through sharing conversation about daily activities.

Our meals are funded through the State of Florida Child Care Food Program.

Check back often for more links and nutritional information.
